Little Zizou movie review

Little Zizou

I just happened to watch this movie screening.
Well I expected more of a Mira Nair movie. It is an average film with really good acting but the story is a real setback.
There is hardly any substance in the script. It's about two Parsi families with a kind of rivalry between the Head of the Families(The men). Zizou the son of a so called Parsi fanatic, is supposed to be the central character with the movie named after him.But the story just goes on different directions and becomes extremely predicatable.
John Abraham was really not needed for the 30 second role!
I would say the actors have really acted well but they have been wasted in the script.
At times the movie just becomes so slow by bringing Zizou's grandmother into picture and showing her parody.
All in all a waste of really good actors especially all the kids.I got to watch this movie for free but trust me I would be really upset if I had paid for it.

State Of Play movie review

State of Play: Russel Crowe,Ben Affleck,Rachel McAdams

An intriguing ,suspense sequence is what State of Play is.
Russell Crowe, who gives the best of energy and zest to his performance as Cal McAffrey, a veteran investigative reporter at the Washington Globe is investigating two deaths.Della Frye (Rachel McAdams), an ambitious journalist, whom Crowe patronises for being a blogger rather than being an old-school beat journalist.
The mystery of three deaths all having a connection to a military contractor,Point Corps.
A twisty turvy ride one has in the movie and you cannot afford to budge even for a second from the movie, lest you miss something.
Overall an engrossing movie with a great suspense. You need all your attention while watching this one

Coraline Movie Review

A lovely movie about a cute little girl,Coraline who is not very happy with her parents and falls into the trap of a witch.
I watched it on 3D. Wonderful 3D effects and a very captivating story.
The animation is exceptional especially the characters of the film- the girl, her parents, the cat , the neighbors. However it's not a movie for very young children despite being animated. Its scary in parts which may not be suited for children below 10. But overall a thrilling movie and a must watch on 3D.
Seems the era of 3D movies has dawned!

Monsters Vs Aliens Review

I wanted to watch this movie after the reviews of its first week and after the huge money it raked at the box office.
I caught it a couple of days back and I must say it kept up to all the talk about it.
I saw it on IMAX 3D and as most people say I too feel it has revolutionized Movie watching. The 3 D effects have set benchmarks for forthcoming 3D movies.
I had seen Coraline also on 3D a couple of weeks back. But I would say Monster vs aliens has 3D effects not seen before in any movie.
The story is extremely engrossing and very new.The characters are expressive and very unique.
It is a must watch for all movie buffs but make sure you catch it on 3D . An IMAX screen added to the 3D will make it a terrific experience. You will surely feel you got your worth back!
